Joey LOVES Monster Jam so when we heard they were coming to Tucson I bought tickets. However, I was amazed that they chose the Tucson Arena instead of some of our other, more accommodating venues. The Arena floor is only the size of the hockey rink. Perhaps that is fine for concerts, but I thought it was way too small for Monster Trucks. The event lacked the thrill that we are used to seeing on TV at the bigger venues, not only because of the small space but also because they didn't put dirt on the floor! The drivers had to perform on concrete!
Joey liked seeing the trucks in person, but he was a little intimidated by their size when we got up close. He was afraid they were going to drive over him.
