On Saturday we headed out to Buckelew Farm for our annual pumpkin pickin'. It was 96 degrees, so we made it quick! We won't be in Tucson for Halloween anyway, but the kids still need a pumpkin!
We tried to get the cute pictures first, but Joey was so preoccupied with the horses that pull the wagons, so we decided to head out to the patch. It was a lot easier this year. Partly because both kids could manuver through the vines and also because we only had to find two small pumpkins! Once we were finished, we paid for them (Macy's pumpkin was 5 pounds and Joey's was 4 pounds) and started towards the car. We still had to get a couple pictures and the kids were both hot, tired and cranky. oh well. They were very excited to hold their pumpkins on the way home.
