M.O.P.S.!

Macy is loving preschool! She has lots of friends and seems to get along with everyone. She loves the crafts, stories, and playtime. Joey and I can't wait for the weather to cool down so we can enjoy the park more often! I have a couple of playdates set up with some of our friends, but I was so excited when I found that Mothers of Preschoolers was starting up again at Lord of Grace!

The moms meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month for 2 hours and there is FREE child care for children from birth through kindergarten! Joey had TONS of fun in the Lion Tamers classroom (which happens to be right next door to Macy's class). The volunteers read stories, have craft time, snack time and play time outside while I get to have 2 hours with other moms. Each meeting we usually have a speaker come in to talk to us and then we have our own craft time where we make things for the community (ie. shelters, soldiers, non-profit organizations). The moms are awesome! We even have a monthly Bunco game and Mom's Night Out! It reminds me so much of my Tucson Moms group, except that I don't have to drive all over town for outings and, did I mention, there is FREE CHILD CARE?! I couldn't be happier! And Joey LOVES his class!
