Camping Day 3 @ Big Lake

D took the kids for a walk around the campground and they found a snake curled up in a rock. Of course he had to poke it, but luckily it was too cold out for the poor snake to react.

What do we eat on OUR camping trips? 'Smores, of course! The kids helped Daddy roast marshmallows and they had smores for lunch.

We were able to take showers Saturday night and it rained ALL NIGHT. Our "water-tight" trailer isn't! The seam running the length of the trailer has rotted and lets LOTS of water in. Luckily I created a make-shift trough to keep the water off the kids' bed. The sound of the rain kept the kids asleep and the heater worked like a charm, but we were pretty soggy by morning.
